A lot of people are asking. Who is Monroe Tech, and where did you guys come from?
Well, we’re glad you’re asking. It may seem like we just landed in your backyard, but we assure you, it was no accident how we came about.
Chris Tobin, the owner of Monroe Tech, has yearned to open a place of his own, ever since he was a little boy. He had grand visions of opening up a sandwich shop with his great-grandmother. He had the name picked out, what was going to be on the menu and how each one of his family members would have a position working there.
Aside from his love of sandwiches, he also had a passion for computers. He would spend almost all of his spare time working on them and learning everything he could about them. Chris grew up and went on to work for two of the biggest computer and printer giants in the industry.
Although his dream of opening up a sandwich shop would never happen, he never gave up his dream of having a place he could call his own.
Some years later, he began to revisit his childhood dream. Having looked other opportunities in other venues, Chris decided to open up a computer repair shop because to him it just made sense. He had the knowledge, experience, determination and a town he was in love with.
So there it was. A dream became a reality and Monroe Tech was born. Since it’s inception, the company has gone through major changes and restructures in hopes of making it not only the best possible place to work, but also a place where every customer can get the best possible experience.
They say your company is only as good as the people that are working for you. And we know it. Monroe Tech is proud to have some of the industries best working for us. And what that means is that they are not only working for us, they are working for you—the customer.
